University of Texas at Austin’s Tower Fellows program is a two-semester experience that allows you to find new purpose, discover new passions, and build a new community. During your time on campus in Austin, you will take up to six classes per semester, participate in weekly discussions with world-class thinkers and doers, and take part in exclusive campus activities that give you a backstage pass to the university.
Tower Fellows are intellectually curious individuals. They are risk takers, and they are explorers seeking new purpose. Does this sound like you? Create visualizations and perform statistical analyses to support data-driven decision making
Communicate results and actionable insights to non-technical audiences
Analyze technical problems to identify appropriate modeling techniques and develop solutions that meet requirements from resource-constrained embedded systems up to large-scale web services with millions of users
Develop and evaluate new predictive models using the cutting-edge approaches such as deep learning
Learn problem-solving strategies and techniques for improving model prediction performance
Learn how to apply machine learning to diverse data types such as spreadsheets, images, text, sensor readings, and more
